GPJ and my grandad were cousins.The info. Re GPJ’s daughter appears incorrect, her name was Betty Johnston Wares,1911-1983, who was a spinster.(Also there were no marriages of a Margaret Wares to a Johnson, Johnston or Johnstone recorded in Scotland and also the only Margaret Wares born in Wick , 1908-1912, was born in 1912, with a mother whose maiden name was Manson. She married William Banks in Wick in 1943 and died in 1999, aged 87, in Inverness
